That’s why they don’t want to release them IMO. all whilst advertising the links for the scripts to viewers. There’s also hundreds of people advertising on tiktok lives showing off their cheats on accounts with skins, some of these accounts go on for weeks… months. It’s strange that CS has a cheater problem in lower/mid elos but valorants becomes apparent as you go higher, not quite sure why this is. In those cases, we simply open the VOD with X-ray & can say ‘yep, that guy is hella walling/ triggering’. I’m not talking the games where you report + game gets cancelled, this is actually pretty rare but I feel that players don’t question iffy plays anymore because they believe that vanguard is invincible, as a CS player it’s pretty easy to spot when something just isn’t quite right. Cheating has definitely gotten worse as the game has aged, not sure if they’re being smarter or the scripts are finding workarounds, but anyone who has played in high asc+ can tell you that it’s certainly happened more often than before. There’s a sentiment going around that replays would essentially expose Vanguard for ‘masking’ the cheater problem rather than minimising it. Honestly, pushing out their replay system is likely not in their best interests currently.
